The map is kind of bland in that one part pretty much looks like the rest. So I guess maybe I miss it and the game suddenly doesn't have those extra dimensions.Īlso, maybe it's that the Rickenbacker is such a huge map but you only have one task: destroying all of those eggs. I really loved finding all of that stuff early in the game but it really all becomes irrelevant by the time you reach the Rickenbacker. You have plenty of ammo and other supplies, you've found all of the cool weapons and armor, all the upgrade software, and you have plenty of nanites. By that time you've found really all the cybernetic modules you need. My theory is that it simply has to do with approaching the end of the game and maybe has nothing at all to do with the design of that map at all. Maybe I liked it then.īut now, the Rickenbacker just seems like a chore. I can't even remember what I thought about it the first time I played it. For me, it all comes down to the fact that when replaying the game I get bored when I reach the Rickenbacker. ![]()
